Main Scripture: Hebrews 6:1–3
Therefore, let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity…

Living Is Not the Same as Moving

Just because you’re alive, doesn’t mean you’re growing. Living is not moving. True spiritual movement means you’re growing, achieving something daily, and stepping forward in faith. If you’re not moving, you’re stuck-and stuck things eventually die.

Movement means progress. Progress demands pain, discipline, and leaving your comfort zone.

You can’t stay in your past and expect to enter your destiny. The Israelites longed for Egypt toen frustration hit—they forgot that freedom required faith, not comfort. Growth always costs something.

Growth Requires Focus and Purpose

People who move with purpose don’t waste time.

  • They never miss their prayer or Bible reading.
  • They live with intention.
  • They don’t spend energy watching or judging others-they’re too busy moving.

If you’re not spending time in the Word of God or in prayer, don’t expect to grow. God gives direction to those who spend time with Him. Movement without divine direction leads to confusion.

Question: What is your daily priority? What’s your spiritual target?

Don’t Let the Past Hold You Back

You can’t move forward while holding on to bitterness, grudges, or old wounds.

  • Forgiveness isn’t just for others-it’s for your own freedom.
  • If someone hurt you, ignored you, or left you behind-keep moving.
  • If someone doesn’t love or talk to you, that’s their limitation-not your destination.

God says, “Love your enemies” because your enemy is stuck, but you are called to move forward. Don’t give small things the power to stop your big calling.

If You’re Easily Offended, You’re Easily Stuck

If little things make you angry, bitter, or defensive, then you’re not moving. Emotional immaturity keeps people stuck. Spiritual growth requires emotional control and resilience.

God gave Adam a helper-not a business or a platform-but a partner to help him move.

If people can easily offend or stop you, you’re still poor in maturity. You need strength-not just to lead others-but to lead yourself.

Don’t Jump—Prepare

Don’t become a leader if you’re not even a strong believer.

Today, many chase titles without transformation. They jump into opportunities without preparation. Not every open door is God’s door. Some opportunities are traps if you’re not ready.

Follow the process. Grow in private before leading in public.

Discipline, prayer, study, humility, and consistency are keys to safe movement.

Final Word: Keep Moving

Keep learning, keep growing, and keep moving. Don’t stop because of people. Don’t freeze because of feelings. God calls us to progress daily. Whether anyone supports you or not—move forward.
