Understanding God’s Presence
A born-again Christian has experienced God’s presence in some way, even without complete knowledge.
Many people fall away during trials and tribulations because they have never truly experienced His presence.
Manifestation means when God’s presence is disclosed in a way that our physical senses can experience it.
Exodus 33:16 – Moses said, “It is Your presence that separates us from the people of the earth.“
God’s presence should never be used for personal gain, fame, or popularity.
When we honor His presence, it increases with time. Like Moses, we should say, “I do not want to go without Your presence.“
How to Guard God’s Presence
We must change our thoughts, habits, words, and actions to experience His presence.
The mystery of God is not in faith alone, but in His presence. To know God, we must seek His presence.
God’s presence is revealed, not studied (Psalm 97:1-2 – Darkness and clouds surround Him). Pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal His presence to you.
Psalm 51:11 – David prayed, “Do not cast me away from Your presence.“
We were all designed to live in His function, and Jesus made a way for us to experience His presence.
The Benefits of God’s Presence
Supernatural Rest
Exodus 33:14 – “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.“
If you are struggling with anxiety, loneliness, or stress, it means you are not resting in His presence.
God’s presence allows you to let go of worries, fears, and burdens.
Matthew 6:34 – Do not worry about tomorrow; worry is illegal in God’s presence.
Situations may not change immediately, but His peace will sustain you.
Psalm 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God.“
How to Experience the Presence of God
1. Humility (James 4:10)
The more you humble yourself, the more you will attract God’s presence.
2. Meditate on His Word
Knowing God’s Word is essential to remaining in His presence.
3. Repentance
A heart that is unrepentant cannot fully experience God’s presence.
If there are wrong thoughts or actions in your life, repent and seek restoration.
4. Obedience & Holiness
Obedience to God’s Word, pastors, and spiritual leaders brings His presence.
Holiness is not about setting personal standards but walking in alignment with God.
Even when facing frustration, jealousy, or depression, maintain holiness in words and actions.
5. Waiting Upon the Lord
Experiencing God’s presence takes time—many people give up too soon.
Isaiah 40:31 – “Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.“
6. Prayer
Without prayer, not even a leaf can move.
A prayerless life is a powerless life—stay connected to God through constant prayer.
Final Encouragement
His presence will bring you rest, peace, and comfort.
You will receive restoration, joy, strength, healing, and deliverance.
Trust in His presence and walk daily with Him.
God bless you abundantly!
