He Was 100% Man and 100% God

Philippians 2:5-8
Jesus chose to enter into Jerusalem on donkey. He is not coming with a big army. People were expecting him to be a king.

What Is the Mindset of Christ?

Sometimes, we display our strength to weaker individuals and act in ways that do not reflect who we truly are. Jesus, however, chose to be humble even though He had the power to do anything. When people opposed Him and spoke against Him, He remained humble.

No matter how great your name or status might be-whether you are a well-known individual or a person of authority-you should always choose to be humble. Cultivate a serving heart.

Many people don’t understand the significance of Easter. While the birth of Jesus is extraordinary, His death and resurrection are even more miraculous. Jesus existed in the very nature and power of God. He could perform on earth what God does in heaven. For the first time, the lame walked, and demons were cast out.

Yet, he chose not to use His divine power for personal gain. Instead, Jesus demonstrated love and power, without exploiting it for His own advantage.

For the first time in history, a master washed the feet of His followers, redefining leadership through humility.

Sometimes people believe that victory comes only through conflict, but Jesus showed us that humility and obedience bring true victory.

Obedience to God: The Path to Greatness

When you are obedient, you are powerful.
When Jesus humbled Himself, God gave Him the name above all names.
His greatness was not a result of displaying power but of demonstrating obedience and humility.
Obedience and humility do not indicate weakness; rather, they reflect the mind of Christ.

Trusting God to Fight Your Battles

Do not fight your battles on your own; let God fight for you. Your name will be exalted when you humble yourself. Sometimes, when you don’t know what to say or do, trust God to lift you up.
When you lift yourself, there is a limit. When God lifts you, there are no limits.

Jesus’ Entry into Jerusalem

Jesus chose to enter Jerusalem on a donkey. He did not come with a grand army, even though people were expecting Him to be a king.
As Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowd shouted, “Hosanna!” and waved palm branches, fulfilling the prophecy in Zechariah 9:9.

People expected Him to arrive on a horse, as a conquering king, but the prophecy stated He would come humbly on a colt. Many anticipated that Jesus would establish an earthly kingdom, freeing them from pain and oppression.

Jesus, however, declared in John 18:36, “My kingdom is not of this world.” Earthly kings and kingdoms will pass away, but His kingdom is eternal. It is everywhere and will always reign. Even if we die, we will live again in His eternal kingdom.

This journey into Jerusalem pointed to the cross. The same voices shouting “Hosanna” would later cry out for His crucifixion.

Humility in Action: Lessons for Daily Life

Do not place your trust in human praise. Today, people may praise you; tomorrow, they may speak against you.
Jesus understood the weight of what He was about to endure. As prophesied in Isaiah 53:5, He was crushed for our sins. Every drop of His blood was shed for our iniquities.

Let us strive to be humble like Jesus.
God bless you abundantly.
